rear shock

can i strip the spring off an 1150 gs rear shock. or is it a non dismantle item??????????

What are you trying to do, oh fast one?....

If you want the shock rebuilding, try Caledonian Engineering in Glasgow. They will take your old shock, cut the top off & make it rebuildable (even though it isn't designed to be) & even refurbish the spring. Comes back looking & performing like new & the cost was around £100 the last time I enquired.
