so I had a look at my rear shock adjuster tonight to investigate why it was so stiff, managed to free it off so it could be turned with relative ease then the bloody thing came to bits on me. Ok I thought new shock needed so....
went to take off the rear shock to find the lower bolt round off and also should it have a 5mm threaded hole in it?

this is fun.....not:blast
first I drill through the bottom of the shock by the bolt a few times to create a gap, then drill through the actual shock base and get the shock out!!
next drill the lower shock bush and housing and get that off
then still can't move said bolt after lots of gt85 and heat so.....
cut the bolt and discover that the thread end is free and it is the bolt head that is seized.
cut bolt again to create a gap to get threaded end out.
not just got to get the head out just a time factor I hope lots of heat makes it move a little, however cannot get enough purchase on the bloody thing!
got to go to work now so back to it sunday morning.
in the meantime keep applying GT85.
