I had my rear shock replaced about 2K ago as 2 up it was a bit bouncy, but having been 2 up yesterday, the new one moves quite a lot before it sees any damping as well.
I can sit at the lights and bounce us both up and down by taking a little weight on my legs, what feals about 2" (prob 1/4" at the shock).
Do they all do it??

Did you adjust the Preload to cope with the passenger? Maybe a bit more is needed. Was the new shock built for you and your use or off the shelf?

Sorry, its a 67 plate so ESA and self level etc .. it even knows when its 2 up. Give it a blast tonight and its a lot less noticable with just myself on it?

Engine running and stationary, mine will bounce up and down like there's no damping at all. As soon as I move everything is good.
Two-up I would have the damping on Dynamic. Mode- Road.

maybe it is whilst stood still? it was on Dynamic / Dynamic, changing it to road I thought would make it worst but it didn't.
Maybe they do all do that then... feels like its going up and down quite a bit but as said, about 2", then when going it may take up the play??
She don't go on the back that much now so will see next time we are both on it?
