and this as well...
Has anyone got a rear shocker I can borrow for my 88 Paralever?
I've got a shorter one from a R100R or something (I forget exactly which model is the same fitment but shorter, perhaps someone can confirm this?) fitted at the moment but it needs sending away for servicing.

Pretty sure it's from a R100R, so if anyone has a spare R100R shock lying around...
Might even buy it if you're selling. :thumb2

Otherwise I might have to ride the F650 to the Airhead Wee-kend!
Come on now, you can't let that happen, can you? :nenau

R100R fits GS but is about 2 inches shorter:thumb2 ... bit like riding a chopper

I know. You have to drop the front as well to balance things up. I find the GS shock a bit too big for my little legs. What I could really do with is one inbetween the GS and the R. Is there an aftermarket shock that is height adjustable?

Al,

There's a Hagon shock that was my 'service spare' for my Ohlins still sitting in my toolbox that I never got around to selling. Used sparingly on my 100GSPD.

Borrow it? Fine

Buy it? Fine

You tell me :thumb

Cheers Andy, I take it it's a GS shock?

Did Rob Farmer get his Hagon shock replaced? And if he did .....

John,

The Fournales has drained it's oil while it's been laid up after I refitted the Hagon otherwise I'd have volunteered it. Looks like the seals shot. £200 for a rebuild I'm told. I've also got a 100R Fournales that I bought from Lilith - again needs a rebuild or at least a known quantity and grade of damping oil putting into it.

I'm aiming to have the largest collection of knackered shocks in the country.

R100r shock

Got an R100R shock
Its 20 mm shorter eye to eye then the GS one.
I.e. 50mm lower at seat height.
Fully working, but not pretty
Yours for the postage cost, or just send it back when
you are rebuild yours.
