Hello,
I have a 2008 GSA and when it had it's WoF (NZ's MOT) the inspector noticed an 'oil leak from rear suspension' as an advisory.
A couple of questions:
Could this be a result of the bike not being used much - if so, will it resolve itself with more frequent use?
If the shock needs replaced, are there any recommendations as to which option to use? The main dealer quoted me a figure which is probably as much as the bike is worth, so I'm looking at alternatives to OEM.
Is replacing the rear shock a DIY job, or does it need specialist tools etc?
Many thanks,
DA
