Anyone balance their rear wheels themselves? If so what contraption do you use for the single sider?

Difference of opinion between people regarding rear wheel balancing- some say its not even required as the wheel is fixed and fixed to a huge driveshaft etc.

I use a static with a spacer made to mount to the spindle,
You can use a bubble balancer which the wheel is laid on,
Not balancing is not best practice,
but if it is not done and you are happy,,,it's your consequences

Yeah I always have my wheels balanced but the single sided wheel is problematic. No idea what a bubble balancer is. Did you have the spacer made and what does it look like?

I made the spacer out of aluminium bar, with a shoulder on the back and an o ring in a groove to hold it as a push fit in the wheel, bored it 16 mm to allow mounting on the spindle cones of a standard static balancer,
I made one for the ducati multistrada then used the same idea,
The bubble balancer is a base pole with a bell pivoting from it with a bullseye level in the top, check e bay, I use it for car tyres

I have a static wheel balancer and the adaptors for a Hexhead GSA rear wheel. Sometime ago I balanced the wheels minus tyres. They have TPM's fitted and the balance weights that were on from the factory were pretty close for balance - I added 10g to the front wheel and nothing to the rear. Ever since then, whenever I have fitted new tyres they are in balance straight away and don't need any further weights. That's at least 3 rears worth since I balanced them for the first time.

Sorry no photos of the adapter /spacer , on holiday in France,
I can post some when back home if interested,
