I have a 2021 GS1250 with 16,000 miles and a full BM service 500 miles ago. I have just had the bike mot’d and the examiner has given an advisory on play in the rear wheel bearing. I’ve never had one start going with so little mileage and all of that is on road stuff. Does anyone have similar experience?

Is it definitely the wheel bearing? I had a lower bearing replaced (at 30k miles) ... The needle bearing where the rear bevel drive pivots on the swingarm. It could have felt like a wheel bearing. Apparently it's pretty common....

Went on my first GSA LC at less than 13,000 miles and was told at the time that it is a common issue

Thanks not quite sure to be certain and I think the examiner was a bit uncertain only that there was play at 12 and 6 o’clock on the wheel so he put it down to the wheel bearing but I think best thing is the BM stealaship to see what they say
