hi all
ok going to take the rear wheel out of the bike to fix puncture/replace
this is my first bmw so are there any tips or things to look out for? when removing and replacing the wheel, cheers cral

if it's an 1100/1150 remove the brake caliper bolts & lift out the way, as the disc comes off with the wheel . Also i support the back under the exhaust as its very close to the point of ballance on mine as i have givi rack system
If it's a 1200 just take the wheel out as disc stays in place

if its got ABS....

.....you may find a thin disc between the wheel and the hub with four holes in located by the wheel bolts - if its there make sure it goes back as its a spacer for the alignment of the ABS sensor.
If you take the wheel for a new tyre remove the black centre cap or it will probably get left at the tyre fitters.

Have a simple day!
