Just been cleaning the bike, on its centre stand, in the garage and ran the engine for a couple of minutes dry it off a bit and noticed that the Rear Wheel was spinning around even with the bike in neutral. Would stop if I held my foot against it then would start off again if I stopped touching it. Never noticed this before, is that normal ?

life's just a drag

nearly every bike does it, shaft or chain. its drag through the g/box even cars do it when jacked up.

Cold oil in the gear box :rob

It's also a good tel tail as to the condition of the bearings in the final drive. If the wheel turns when idling at start up, everything is probably in good working order.
If not ...................

And before anyone asks, they all make clonking noises as well, from the shaft when in gear on the centre stand.:D
