Is this recall going to cure the tankslappin' issue?
Enough info from bendegs for me to believe him
According to my supplying dealer the bike I pick up tomorrow has not been the subject of recall, nor has any WC GS been subject to recall.
The only issue that the bike is subject to is childish jealousy.

I'm glad mines still going through final testing in Germany now
When do you expect your bike to arrive at the dealers? I know you did mention it somewhere. Build week 11 for me so expecting it 25th March or thereabouts. Got a ride on a demo bike next Tuesday though - will it help to relieve the pain and boredom of waiting?

It's due to be delivered week 11, so wc 11th March. It's built and ready to be shipped now. I'm having a test ride next Saturday.
I was offered a ride tomorrow, but it's going to be bedlam, so I'm happy to wait for the chaos to die down a little.

Yea, after 1m Km's and 5 years development - and several global launch events - final testing.... that's what's needed !
You'll probably get a letter saying that's going to take, an additional 8 weeks........hope you can wait a while longer.
Oh and summer this year is the first week in April, then the rainy season starts again!!!!!!

, was at North Oxford BMW yesterday and there were a couple out the back waiting to be put together and have there pdi done, then a mechanic rode one onto the petrol forecourt to fuel it up (no reg plate) looked all ready to go for some lucky customerBet you cant wait

" gave the German dealer a call last evening and he stated the recall as follow :
the connection between the front brakelines and the forkbridge need to be re-attached.
No LC was allowed to be driven untill this new connection was installed. The ones who got their bike already delivered were contacted by phone, and a dealer pick up van was sent over to collect those bikes as well. "

Clearly you have better eyesight than me then because I can't see anything in this thread that says there is any truth in Bendegs words. Oddly ,Bendegs is surprised that this 'info' hasn't been leaked already and yet when presented with the opportunity to leak the info he refused?

No jealousy here, I can't wait to ride one in the next few weeks and if I like it there maybe a couple of GSA tractor's for sale (or maybe one and a cheque to the dealer)
I just hope that it's sorted and it turns out to be a great bike
