Reccommend me a helmet that's

1 As quiet as possible.

2 Doesn't mist up if it's raining 50 miles away, like the BM SportIntegral does.

3 Uses pinlock or equivalent or is easy to fit a fog city.

4 Has the widest aperture possible. Similar to the Tour-x.

5 Doesn't have a peak, as it's for daily use on a F650, running at motorway speeds.

6 Good controlable ventilation, but isn't draughty

Is there a helmet out there that will fit this list

Already have those, so excluding a de-peaked Tour-x any other ideas, or will that be the best bet

I was thinking of going with a de peaked BMW enduro lid. IMHO it doesnt make you look like as much of a deformed Alien with the peak off as the Arai does

Can i ask... if you never intend on using the peak, why not go for a standard road lid? I know you want a wide view but the seating position on the GS gives you a much "easier" field of observation anyway.

Not cheap,but stick to plain colours and it's not silly.

Wide view for filtering etc on the 35 miles of motorway each way each day

And the BM SportIntegral whilst it ticks many boxes is almost dangerous in the rain

Check out the Schuberth C2 - but don't know about the Pinlock though?

Try Suomy

For a combination of great value for money & quality I don`t think you can beat Suomy.
I`m on my second & find it extremely comfortable, quiet, light & with good visiblility. I use to have an Aria but find the Suomy a lot more comfortable, perhaps I just hav`nt got an Aria shaped head.
The build quality of both the helmet & graphics is extremely good.
Take a look at the fleabay link below for a sample of styles and prices, (ignore the £499 ones the ones priced at £149 offer very good value for money & are a top of the range helmet) hope this helps

I would also say Schuberth - but I would go for the S1 as I don't like flip lids - the integral sun visor is brilliant and polarised. The original visor is fitted with a coating on the inside for anit fog, it is pretty good too. Even on mway rides of several hundred miles in the rain.

Shoei Hornet.............with or without peak. Peak is not as large as the Arai's and fine up to 90mph + (private test track of course)
