Reccommend me a helmet that's

John, thanks for the Ride test, I'm after a new lid too. I thought about a tour x but although I realy like the fit I've heard too many complaints about noise and water ingress. I need a cool helmet, in the temperature sense not Dudeness as I ride through a city centre everyday and in summer sweat runs down my face so thats why I liked the tour x or shoei multitec. My current lid is an x-lite 901. Ok but very poor quality, the vents have self destructed in one year and I'm on my second liner in a year as they rip at the back putting it on and off . I have an old Arai Omni whick is/was perfect but at 14 years old is past it. The side plates covering the visor mech have a spring loaded fastener which I see on the new Arais is now gone and you have to risk braking the plates everytime you change the visor (I change from black to clear often). All the helmets on offer seem to be compromised in some way or another and the other limiting factor for me is the buckle, I will only use double D rings. The car seat belt type and ski boot fastener type just don't look up to the job.
P.S. Are you the John Armstrong that works at what was FLS in MAN?
