Ok guys, I don't want anecdotal statements about how good my torque wrench is, I get these things calibrated for work.
I am after an occassional use torque wrench, & feel loathe to part with £50 that Halfords want for their one.
Do any of you know of a cheaper item that you know (traceable to a national standard) meets customer expectations.I can get a Norbar from work at £50, which I'd rather buy than Halfords.
Thought I'd cracked it earlier, saw a test report stating that the Draper 3001A was not as quite as accurate as Halfords but some £20 cheaper, so got 1st prize in their test. Followed this up, appears to be a higher rating, which I already have.
