Recomend a Place to stay in Southern Portugal

Im looking to go to the south of Portugal for a week (19-26 Jul 14). I need an apartment/studio with a swimming pool for myself and Mrs Bolts. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and want to tour Spain and Portugal and spend a week by a pool and then travel back to Gijon/Santander.
Any recommendations?

Its situated between Albufeira and Vilamoura.

Secure parking as you need a remote key fob to enter the gates, i have seen bikes there before, so it does get used by bikers.

We stay in the Superior T1 Apartments, they are situated on the top floor and have 2 balconies. The accommodation is a bit basic but its clean and the pool is great.

we have been there 6 times now and we love it, most of the day we are by ourselves by the pool.

The owners (Aldaberto and Gentille) live on site and welcome you and if there are any problems they will sort them out.

There are 4 BBQ areas, washing machine, iron airers etc.

Some great roads around there to explore, although I'm always in the car as the Mrs hates Motorcycles.

Hi mate I have just joined the site after buying my GS this week I live mainly in the South of Portugal at a place called Benagil I have an apartment which is an extension of my villa it will sleep 4 persons and I have secure parking and garage also large pool if you want to check this out

No Problem Nick got your message and will do you a deal as you are a member of UKGSers you can check out the reviews on trip adviser we are trying to organize trips where the lads can ride down on their bikes and their wives/ girlfriends can fly down so that they can get the best from their holiday too,

Its a win win for a lads holiday
