Recommend a Garmin for my 80 year old Uncle.

My Uncle still has his wits about him and loves his gadgets. He is after a GPS and being in Northern Ireland, Garmin with V9 is the smart choice. I have a Zumo and therefore am familiar with the company.

I am not familiar with the car side of things. I very much doubt he needs anything complicated and I think he would only use in the car so I doubt it has to be portable.

I have looked at all the choices and I was not aware that Garmin made so many options for cars. Can someone please advice me on a sub £200 device for him?

Don't know whether you have ASDA over there, but they were selling Garmin i3's for £49.99 in-store the other day.

They were also selling the Nuvi 300 for £98 which in my opinion would be a better alternative given that it has a touch screen which is much larger than the i3's
