I've seen loads of new ads and reviews for 80/20 tyres. Anyone have any experience or recommendations from the latest 2025/26 crop ?

Conti Attk 3, or apparently the Mich Anekee 3s are good. Currently running Conti Attk 3s on my 23 GSA, excellent road tyre. Much quieter than the OE Anekee's but not as grippy on tracks, wet grass etc.
Think I'll try the later Michs, once these are done.

I really like the Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3's. Fantastic on road, wet or dry & copes well enough on trails etc

Depends on your 20% but if Trail Attack are suitable then you should be fine with the Dunlop Trailmax Meridien. Moto Guzzi fitted them to my new V85 and they have been great for over 7000 miles. A little squared off after the most recent trip, with 220 motorway miles home from Portsmouth, but will do for another month or two when they will be replaced to go to Spain.

Continental TKC 70’s are my go to. Since my first set I’ve never seen a need to try anything else.
I didn’t like the look of the mutants on my 1200LC initially. Thought I’d be swapping them.
But I’ve come to really like them. Impressed.
Great on shitty roads with dirt / gravel. Fantastic in the wet.

TBH - I wouldn’t bother with the 20%, just fit some full on road tyres. They’ll work on gravel. If you’re on anything worse, you need something much more capable.

IMO, it is difficult to tell if any 80/20 tire is actually any better than say, a set of road 6s in the dirt. Out here in the colonies I see a lot of road 6s on GS's. I've have not had those on my own gs, but they do have some large rain cut-outs as road tires go.
I have a 2019 GS with sport suspension, and it had the older version of the anakee adventure (noisy) which I don't really feel like they are that good in the dirt unless it is relatively firm. For example, I had taken my RS with road 6 GTs on some of the same roads which were very sandy, got thru with some duck walking in really sandy parts, but were very adept where the road was fairly firm with more clay mixed in. When I took the GS down there later I just turned around. It sits so high and when it wobbled in the deep sand I just said I ain't doing that again, had no control over the front. Later on I put on anakee wilds (very noisy) on the GS and flew down that same road, although you still want to slow down for the deep sand, but you have some control over the front even then ...... Just a note; the wilds are very fast on the road, with people claiming to drag their pegs canyon carving, and I agree with them, but they are very noisy and short lived.
So as to the 2025-26 part there is a new anakee adventure out now and one could give those a whirl, if your convinced on the 80/20 part. I've heard that they fixed the noise part. It seems that an upgrade was very likely because many of us just went with the road 6 for a 80/20 tire, that has splendid performance on the road without any noise really .....

80/20 tyres are no better on anything other than tarmac than pure road tyres and not as good on tarmac.
The only reason to go 80/20 is for a bit of a rufty-tufty look - and half of them don’t even do that very well.
If you insist on the idea, Karoo Street, Anakee Adventure, Scorpion STR all look quite manly and are not utterly useless on light gravel.
TKC70 is just an inferior road tyre that is useless away from tarmac - that’s why they developed the TKC70 Rocks rear.
If you genuinely want a dual purpose tyre, Mitas Enduro+ is a very good trail tyre that is surprisingly good on road - even in the wet. Looks pretty butch too…
Thanks, everyone. That's given me a lot to go on. I'm running Brigestone T33s atm and can't fault them.
