Recommend me a Heated Vest

EXO, and there heat controller, brilliant bit of kit, had mine for 4 years, no issues :thumb2

http://www.warmnsafe.eu/ are what I have, very impressed. Particularly like their remote controller. No wires, I just ziptie it to my bars and turn up or down the heat as necessary.

Not cheap but very effective.

+1

The best in my opinion :thumb2
Fleece lined Heated collar :thumb
Arms warm down to the wrists:thumb

Had an exo but didn't like the fact that it was just a vest and didnt really keep the shoulders and arms warm, so got rid.

i use an exo vest. it's very good, but i think heated arms might be a good idea.

I had a BMW vest, which was excellent when I'd fixed the crap connector, but have to admit my Gerbings with heated arms and collar is nicer.

I too have an Exo2, and think its great. Not sure arms are needed - keep your core warm and the rest stays warm (with the exception of fingers and toes in my experience!)

The other thing to consider, is whether you can fit a jacket with heated arms under your outer jacket, whether it can be worn off the bike without looking crap, and if not will it fold down small enough to stick in a box...

Currently on Ebay for £85 too...

Any idea about the difference between the Gen 3 and Gen 4 on the W&S liners?

I'd want to wear it under a jacket and the Gen 4 looks like it might be a bit bulky?

Warm'n'safe gen 4 is actually quite thin- no thicker than a light fleece. Highly recommended, along with the wireless controller.

Exo 2 and controller bit expensive but very good over good layers. Add in bar muffs and Iv`e been out in all weathers. Was a xmas gift from wife and daughters. An excellent present.:thumb

I've tried various makes of heated clothing, including the DIY kit that's available.

The best i've used is the Gerbing jacket with the heat controller. Can be used as normal clothing when you remove the waterproof layer. I use mine under my aerostich roadcrafter suit.
And you can also add gerbing heated trousers/insoles/gloves very simply as they all plug into each other, so no trailing wires or extra wires just the one simple single lead plugged into the bike. :thumb And a lifetimes guarantee.

Plus UKGSer subscribers used to get a discount as Mr Gerbing owned a GS

Mine,s a Gerbing set jacket n trousers with adjustable controller
you can have Arctic or wi a wee twist of the adjuster Barbados!!! wi the steam pouring out the top of the jacket
first class bit of kit imho:beerjug:

Give these a ring ,they are the biggest retailers of heated clothing for the last few years and will give you an honest view on them all ,just say what it will be used for mostly

Just sent my Gebring jacket back to Riderz for repair. Bloody thing failed, only worn it a few times.

Great jacket when it works, hopefully it s a one off.

At least you have the lifetime warranty :thumb2

You could have dropped it off and picked another one up at the same time , it's not far from you
