Not to computer literate at these thing's,so

Looking for a small screen model 11inch minimum
I Will take it with me on Hol's/travel on the bike as well,so has to be robust, good battery usage,
It would be used for down loaded film's to watch later,so need's large memory.
route mapping with Base camp,
general computer stuff as well,
need's to have WiFi as well,
Price, well cheap as feasibil, Not worried too much on the name,as long as it does what i want it to..
Cheer's,
Mike..

I was going to suggest a Surface Pro ... until I saw the word "cheap". Ticks all the other boxes though.

I love mine.

Macbook Air - no question. Not cheap but the best there is.

anything with the name Apple or Mac is so more advanced and trouble free than the Windoz offerings I cant see why anyone would buy anything else. Buy cheap, get junk and frustration !

From my 13" Macbook air, so good i bought one for the wife

Go Mac, like the others say - a different world to a windows machine.

May cost twice the cost of a windows machine but will last and be useable for twice as long in my experience,

Thank's for the reply's

When i said cheap,it was followed by the word "as feasable" to my mind it meant "as possible"

I am not shy on spending money, just wanted some help,i have looked at the Mac book on which a friend had thought was good.

Just wanted something that would take some knock's and bang's,being in pannier's or thrown around in the camper van..

Cheer's again to all
Mike..

You've just talked yourself into the world of Apple...

MacBook Air is the way to go. Strong, light, great on battery and mine follows me everywhere. And they just work.

Then a MacBook Pro.

They are incredibly sturdy.
I transported on two wheels (including a few small accidents) several Apple laptops, from the G3 Pismo times to nowadays and they all survived properly all the bumps, knocks, sudden drops, etc. etc.

If you don't have any issues switching to MacOS X, and withstanding with some of Apple's new bullshit (that can be avoided)... it's a perfect machine.
