RECOMMEND ME A PHONE APP THAT WILL SIMULATE A NAVIGATION DEVICE

So one of our part for a trip this year is looking for the above, Im sending routes out to everyone in GPX format, all routes were calculated on Garmin Maps.

+1 for this. A plus point is, if anyone has a satnav which requires a different format, it can be changed in the MR app

Another for MRA. I’ll buy a months subscription as I’ll use it on a hire bike in Gran Canaria again. Think it’s about £2.50 a month or £15.75 a year.

Many of the apps have a two week evaluation period and a cut down free version of the app. I like MRA but test a few that suit your needs and make sure that you all are familiar with the app/device you are using before you go on tour..........unless you want to do a Red Arrows style "Starburst Manoeuvre" after you leave a hotel in a foreign town or city
