I just can’t justify spending over £500 on a genuine Omega strap. I’ve bought a strap from eBay but it’s too short/tight.
Can anyone recommend a good quality non Omega strap that doesn’t cost silly money?
TIA. Phil

Have a look at these, they really are very good.

Try and get one with curved ends

However IMO a rubber on a speedy is wrong

Do a NATO instead

The one I have on now has curved ends which I like too but the strap is on the last adjustment hole & is still a little too tight. I’ll take a look at the NATO strap, cheers…

I like the nato straps but for every day use i think rubber is way more comfortable. Got a few different ones for my omega but it usually lives on the Rubber strap.

Look on temu or Aliexpress. Absolutely NO need to pay for anything with a brand name that just what to bend you over the table and abuse you, even without lubrication!!.

I know its not rubber but Ive had two alligator straps made to my specs by a lady in the Netherlands, to fit my Mk40 with omega deployment. Cost €200

I know someone who uses an Everest rubber watch strap on his seamaster.

I can vouch for OuterKnown NATO straps. Strong af and mega comfy. The only problem is finding one. Since OuterKnown and Breitling have parted ways, the straps have become difficult to find brand new.

PM me your address. I think I’ve a few NATO’s you can have. 18mm???

Jim
What a very nice offer! Plus 1 for NATO. More comfortable, less sweaty than a rubber strap.

I put this on a similar colour and busy faced (if the bezel counts as busy) watch and think it looks very smart. Saves the original rubber strap too. I picked the brushed metal finish to match the brushed watch case.
