GARAGE IN THE GUILDFORD/COBHAM/KINGSTON AREA OR MAYBE A BIT FURTHER OUT TO FIT A NEW SET OF TYRES TO ME GS,
NOT TO KEEN ON GETTING IT DONE AT VINES AS THEY USUALLY CHARGE WAY OVER THE ODDS!
NEED A NEW SET OF TOURANCES FOR THE GS AND LOOKING FOR A DECENT PLACE FOR A DECENT PRICE!
LOOKING FOR COST OF FITTING AND BALANCING
ANY ADVICE GREATLY RECIEVED!

MICHELDEVER IS USUALLY THE PLACE TO GO FOR THE CHEAPEST. BUT IT IS A BIT OF A TREK AND IT IS ALWAYS BUSY BECAUSE OF THE PRICES.

WHY NOT GIVE BMW BATTERSEA A TRY. I CHANGED TWO FRONT TYRES, A BATTLEWING FOR MY 12 AND TOURANCE FOR MY 650 THERE. SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE. GIVEN IT IS ON MY WAY TO WORK, RATHER THAN A "SPECIAL TRIP" THE PRICE WORKED TO BE ABOUT THE SAME AS MICHELDEVER (IN THAT IT WAS ABOUT £6-8 DIFFERENCE IN PRICE). GIVE THEM A CALL AND SEE WHAT DEAN (THE MANAGER) CAN DO.

Portsmouth too far??? there is a great ride in ride out place there with keen prices and bikers who care about rims!!!

let me know and i'll get you the address

sorry about the shouting!

portsmouth aint too far and depending on the weather, might make a nice jolly, so the adress would be great!

ill keep the noise down now, sorry chaps!

Woking tyres (Merit) In St Johns just outside woking.

If I take my own TKCs, they charge me £8 to put 'em on loose wheels. If I buy the tyres from them, It's just the cost of the tyres.
Taken my bike wheels there for years (Manager is a biking mate of mine).

Hello Chap
Can say Micheldever tyres have always done a good deal for me, and all that work there ride bikes as well!! :aidan

If you're considering Portsmouth, then get in touch with this guy and come to Eastleigh!

Small family owned business that looks after its customers properly.

He's cheaper than Mitcheldever and does a great job (been fitting tyres on all my bikes for the last 5 or 6 years or so).

Give him a call to get a quote, and I'd be amazed if you find anywhere cheaper.

You also get a great ride along the A272 there and back as a bonus :D

I too have always found Guildford tyres in Chilworth very good and helpful :thumb2

Or have Gary at GS Motorcycle Tyres come to you. Yes he's more expensive than buying the tyres, taking your wheels off and taking them to a tyre fitter but having used him three times over the years, he is reliable, does a great job and as a GS rider himself takes pride in leaving the rims unmarked.
