Recommend me some good sites to visit in Skye

we willl have all day Sunday to discover the island so any good roads to check out would be appreciated.

Also - ive heard that petrol stations that are open are hard to find on a Sunday there so is best to fill up on sat when we arrive - maybe this is total tosh though?

Try Broadford to Elgol.

Or the loop north from Portree.

If you want something a bit gentler, take the A851, the road to Armadale (for the ferry to Mallaig) and turn right to Tarskavaig, then continue straight on and end up back on the A851.

Or for a 7 mile roller coaster, the run to Kylerhea from the A87.

Or just about anywhere, really.

Plenty of petrol stations open on Skye on a Sunday.

Portree to Staffin thence to Uig via Quiraing is fantastic.

Dunvegan to Neist Point also very good
