Hi All,
I have my first boxer a '94 R1100GS and I cant help feeling nervous with the combination of me riding a heavy bike and sticky out cylinders!:D
So it may be prudent to put some engine/crash bar thingies on the bike. Can you recommended me some and a supplier of? I'd be looking at the cheaper end of the scale prefably.
Many thanks.

Hi Taipan, you don't say what bike you've got. Mine's a 1150GS and I put H&B bars on her. They are well worth the money, Icame off last week in the ice and hardly any damage to the bike. I got them from Nippy Norman, good price and fast delivery.

Stanton Head guards.

i know you said the cheaper end of the Scale , these dont fit
into that category .
I have used H&B engine bars , and yes they do work ,Well.
I cannot say otherwise.
The biggest problem i had with them was puttin them on !
they were a bloody nightmare. I joke not.
At one stage the whole rear of the bloody bike fell down , i think
it was the G/box / frame mounting .
If you get onto this site via the home Page you will see a headin called "wisdom and Knowledge" here you can read about puttin on the engine bars.
Alternately , buy a set of Stanton head guards
and , with only 8 wee cap heads , presto , Cyl head Protection.
