I will be looking at renewing my contract very soon, so what recomendations do you guys have for a new mobile phone?

Oh it must be Bluetooth though. :)

Cheers

Don't whatever you do get a Samsung unless you want every tone to make you sound like a teenage chav and be unable to select any audible but relatively unobtrusive text tone. I regret moving away from a Nokia so much!

I used to have only Nokias for several years. Last winter i thought that i`ll try something else and bought Siemens S55. It`s a bit complicated(after long Nokia period) but when you get used to it its very fine machine. it has (at here) two years warranty, at that time i suppose it was only one year for Nokia.

I have also waterproof Ericsson for "special conditions" and Nokia as my work phone, but i like about that Siemens much.

I am very pleased with my Nokia 6630 which is fully bluetoothed and able to synchronise with Outlook so I have ditched my PDA too.

Its 3G enabled too so you can make"crikey-the-future-is-actually-here" video phone calls to other 3G handsets.

And because Vodafone are pushing 3G they are offering good deals - I think I paid €150 so under a ton of your refusenik sterling...

I have a SonyEricsson K700i which has all the bells and whistles but is fiddly to use. Maybe if I didn't have sausages for fingers...........

Motorola V600. Great (bluetooth) phone. Free on a cheap tariff from O2 website with 100 x-network-anytime minutes per month. Check the website - only available on-line.

Great guys, keep it comming. Anybody have experience of the Siemens S65?

Apart from Bluetooth what else do you need.
Small pocket size or larger man size.
Titchy keys or easy use keys.
Clam shell or candybar
VGA, 1.3, 2Mp, AF, optical or digital zoom or no camera at all.
1.8, 2, 2.2 or 2.4" LCD
Simple, no brainer UI such as a Nokia or infuriatingly stoopid like Samsung or Sony Ericsson.
Symbian, Windows or other OS.
etc
etc
etc
All personal choice really but try something like a Sendo X for underated but potentially a good deal (soon to be replaced) or a Siemens.

I've got a V600 and it's a good phone - except that the keys on the outside aren't disabled when the phone is closed. This means the ringtone can be changed (to silent) in your pocket and you can miss calls.

A frustratingly silly bit of design - at the end of my contract I'll change it for something else...

Mike:)
