Pricewise wheres the best place to buy brake pads and consumables for gsa lc.

Thanks

I think you have to draw the line somewhere and buy quality pads from a known vendor. I recommend Motorworks. Personally I wouldn’t buy unknown unbranded pads. Buying solely on price is a bad idea. JJH

Do you wish to support a local business and buy them over a counter in a retail premises or is best the cheapest online retailer that might sell you genuine branded pads or something made by slave labour in Turkmenistan or Bangalore?

Do you want BMW branded items or are you happy with pattern parts?

Personally, I like Ferodo Platinum pads and will buy them online to fit myself. Find the part nos in this pdf then look in Steptoe's signature for his online shop and compare his prices with other retailers. https://www.ferodoracing.com/pdf/catalogues/Ferodo_motorcycle_catalogue.pdf - M&P often have them at a discount in their Ebay shop

Thanks guys, sherlock's and motorworks are within pennies of each other for the ferodo platinum. Steptoes shows out of stock at the mo but prices very similar. Have pmd sadjim to see if bmw can offer anything. The ferodo seems a little cheaper than EBC so I'll plumb for them unless bmw surprise me with a price.
Thanks for the advice guys.....

If there is very little difference in price, then spend your money where you earn it. The old saying that my boss used to use 50 odd years ago was, if you buy something from abroad, then you are importing unemployment. If it’s not made in the U.K. , then at least buy it from a U.K. retailer.

Yes I know times have changed, but that saying still holds true today.

Er, a BMW dealership mebbe? Parts staff need to eat too.

Yes but there is real reluctance and resentment while doing so.... I’ve read it here.
