Recommended screen for 1989 R100GS

Hi

I have a 1989 R100GS. This has a small screen integrated into the headlamp housing. I was thinking of adding a screen extension to relieve some of the pressure on my arm at speeds over 60.

I saw Laminar Lip on a US site, but this appears to only fit later GS. Do any of you have experience of a screen mod available in the UK for an early GS?

Hi - I have a R100GS too. When I used the original fairing I screwed a strip of black PVC to the top edge to make a lip. It made a noticable difrence. I upgraded to a Warrior I had a falling out with Simpson due to the non appearance of the screen. I eventully put a slightly modified K100 screen on top - looks the part too.
Biggest problem was rehousing the speedo and warning lamps. I eneded up sticking them in an ABS enclosure from Mapplin.
