Record from Clavinova to laptop/cd - possible?

My son has a Yamaha Clavinova (electric piano with all digital thingies).
He wants to record a piece of music and get it on a cd. Can anyone help with how to do this?
It's a CLP840 model and has 'out' sockets at back so looks as though it's possible.
I wondered if anyone here knew how it's done, software needed etc.

He's created a fab piece of music for my son's wedding, and it's important to him to get it there, (Australia by the way, and he can't make it as he's final year med student in Glasgow)

Any help appreciated greatly

You need some software that will read and record from a MIDI interface.
