any ideas how I might record BBC radio 2 program? i can only listen to it on the bbc player on the internet. would love to be able to record it to a hard drive, any help greatly appreciated.

this will probably do it, but you'll need to record it in real time, like with an old tape deck.

i had the same problem the other day, and eventually just settled for listening, not downloading. all the iplayer download programs seem to have stopped working :(

recording

listened to the interview on the bbc player but it will not be available after 3 more days. 2 more interviews over the next forthnight, might try to hook the computer up to a tape deck, if i can get my hands on a cassette, thanks for your help.

what computer are you using? PC or MAC

I tend to use my MP3 recorder which is old school but really easy... then USB the MP3 back into the host machine....:thumb2

what computer?

imac, mac book pro, powerbook, etc depending where i am.

I have downloaded audacity but cannot make any sense of it.

Just installed this and went to BBC Radio and recorded French and Saunders, worked a treat.

When what you want to RECORD is playing click the Rec button "round one" and when ya want to
stop recording click the stop button "square one".

Click the image above for setup file.......... SIMPLES

iRecordMusic is what you need. Nice piece of software, you can plan recording times with iCal so you never get to miss the programme.

Just plonk the mp3s into iTunes and you're good to go.

You are on a Mac, aren't you?
