Engaging Enduro plus. Read the manual. (Page 64 if your manual is the same as mine for my 2014 bike)

ok cheers guys many thanks,as with most gs,s it wont be getting used as i dont think i will ever take my bike of the tarmac
thanks again ian

The red plug is not just about enabling in Euro pro. One of the benefits is that it remembers suspension settings rather than resetting them to defaults every time you turn the ignition on.

It also enables Dynamic mode which can be configured.

well mine has got none of those, the suspension is a wind up wheel ha ha ,and no mode control .so i guess its just for going off road maybe kills a bit of the power :thumb2

What do you mean? The suspension settings are remembered without the plug anyhow?

Given a recent other thread, I believe it remembers if you have turned off ABS and/or Traction Control, whereas with the plug removed these both default to active when turning off and back on.

The defaults on the pre 2018 bikes with ESA are Rain = soft, Road = normal, Dynamic = Hard. You can set soft, normal or hard for each mode. Without the plug when the ignition is cycled the settings revert to defaults. With it your preference is remembered.

well i plugged it in,it did nowt, nothing on the dash ,power seemed the same ,abs light went out when i pulled away :nenau,it cant do anything to my suspension as its a wind up wheel not electric ,who knows

Strange it's not showing anything. TBH I think you need to be a pretty hardened off-roader to get the most out of it anyway! I've tended to find that the ordinary Enduro mode is quite adequate for most offroading.

If you have a knob for adjusting rear preload, and no auspension mode settings, then it seems you have a non-ESA bike. If so, I'm not sure that the Pro plug will do anything on your bike.

Why's he got the red plug then? That's the Enduro Pro option, innit? Just plug it in and and have more modes to cycle through... what's not to like. ;-)

when the bike was new it must have been put under the seat by mistake,as i said it does absolutely nothing when plugged in:nenau
