RKR camping

As per my message above, are we ok camping at the actual start. Ie, the rugby club ???????????????????????

Camping at the Rugby Club is fine, and is cheaper, closer to a source of liquid refreshment and closer to the post event buffet than Erwelon Camp site - I'll be in the Castle Hotel from the Friday night as I'm marking much of the course on the Friday - you won't be able to go over most of the range on the Saturday as there' a car rally on for most of the day.

Refuelling, for those that need it, will be at SN 87442 39544 in a quarry area, as will the hot dog van and toilets, there'll be time for rider to enjoy both! Refuelling is approx. 54km/33.75m from the start and then another 54kn/33.75m for the second lap and the same for the third lap before the 34km/21.25m back to the finish, approx 196km/122.50m in total.

There will be 2 special stages each lap, although on the first lap they won't be timed so you have a chance to see them before you try and ride them quickly - use the opportunity to find the best routes. They will be timed on laps 2 and 3 so your result will be determined by how well you go over 4 timed sections, the rest of the route is a trail ride with no time penalties.

I'll probably be at the start of the first, and longest, special stage doing the timing - I'll be in a dark red BMW working the traffic lights and timing kit - say hi.

How is the refuelling going to work Bob? I understood from the letter that came with the application form that it was each riders responsibility to make their own arrangements, but from your post it sounds like you can buy it at the quarry. :nenau Sorry if this sounds thick but I've never done a rally before.
