Red Marley Hill Climb 25th April

I can see the course across the valley and will go if I get the chance but its my daughters first birthday that weekend. The trials on the Sunday are always worth a look and entry is free. :thumb

From last year.

Will be going, try and go most years. Watching the trials on the Sunday, staying overnight in Ludlow, watching the mad beggars trying to get up the hill on the Monday, always a good time! :thumb2

Anyone going from Banbury area? Thinking of heading over on Monday for a look around:D

Definitely going. Leaving Banbury at 09:30 and cutting cross country on good roads :augie

I'm going to McDs in Leam at 9.30 for breakfast with my mate then were going to set of about 10.00 going across country staying away from motorways ;) I thing I'm going on the KTM because it needs a run before the Tarenig Rally in two weeks :thumb2 I might see if my mate wants to try the GSA

Weather doesn't look brilliant over there at the moment but may pick up this afternoon. Just found these newsreels of the original hill circa 1938.

Weather's clearing a mile down the road. Outlook is good.

Went yesterday to check out the trialing Haven't been to watch anything like that since I was a kid! My 16yr old daughter wants to get into classic trialing now as well as MX! Might have to give her a hand to learn.:augie

Conditions are dry and the ground very hard. I should think there will be some quick times on the hill today.:thumb2

So wanted to come see this today but I'm sick as a dog :(

Will have to see if the beechams and meltus can sort me out...

Weather is looking great now so we're going this afternoon. It'll be our daughters first motorsport event so I hope she likes it. :D

Cracking day,i pity those stood up the top tho,the dust was something else.
That was a very nice 1150 you had in the carpark Dibdob :thumb2.

Thanks wreck driver :thumb My mate got to ride it today and loved it :D I was on the KTM parked next to it :augie, managed to drop it at the gate when it stalled :blast

we had a great day out yesterday.

wouldn't want to be there when the weather's bad though.

we walked right to the top. it's surprisingly steep up there, and yes, it was a tad dusty :)

That looks awesome! Even with the wipeout!

I wonder if they would let me take the HP :augie

Great day out with the family. We didn't venture up to the top due to the dust but at one year old, Florence loved the bikes and noise. :D

A few photo's from the afternoon.
