Well I'm all for clean and shiny but it's not for me. Fair play though as it's certainly tricked out.

I can see this thread going down as a future classic :beerjug: :D

Very funny :D

Thanks for all the replies, including the ones from the pensioner section waving their Touratec walking sticks at me :rob

I put them on for fun and it makes me smile. It also makes others smile in their cars and vans. I don't care if there laughing at me or with me, just so long as they see me. Winter is coming and for me that means all my commuting is in the dark. So anything that gets me noticed is a good thing.

I could have put some big spot lights on it but all they seem to do is dazzle other road users. This in turn sometimes results in a negative reaction. My glow lights don't dazzle anyone and often generate a positive reaction.

The little remote the lights come with can actually do any coloure. They can also fade or flash through a combination of colours. I like the option of rapid white strobe useful in daylight and makes the bike appear to shimmer.

With a mic and another little box the lights could be made to flash in time with the engine revs. Now come on you know you want that!

Reminds me of this video, all you will need is a stereo fitted under the seat and some dancing UKGSer's (I would imagine the dancing would be of similar quality):

Well I say, fair play to you, Mr BTNs. It's individual and separates you from the herd so good for you.

Let's face it, the whole world of the GS's is very much of the marmite ethos (you either love it or hate it) so let's just except the fact that it's not to everybody's taste and give the guy a break.

Personally, I quite like it. And if I can get some in a black stealth colour, I'll fit em front and back.

If you like it, that is all that matters.

Not to my taste...to many memories of XR3I cabriolets with fluorescent tubes on the underside cruising past maccy'ds with the stero's up.
I'd dont understand making cheap modifications like this to an expensive bike.
