I used to do that with the Order of Malta ambulance team in the 80s. Not easy, especially after socialising the night before.
Did I not hear on the radio today that they cancelled yesterday's climb because of force 8 winds.
You have to love the thought of whose footstpes you are in going up that hill.
I remembered the slidey bits very clearly from the first climb, and I was sure that in the climb with my kids, it would be somehow made safer - not one bit. Sure needs something done to preserve it soon.
