Have to get a new tyre on the front of the Adventure ('02, non-servo), so have successfully removed front wheel for the first time. The GS workshop manual is its usual helpful self - "do up everything you undid!"
Now it DOES seem straightforward (famous last words), but any tricks or tips? Any 'bu**eration factor' things to look out for? Speedo drive, ABS ring/clearance, torque settings?
Thoughts appreciated.
Next week, I think I'll change the main bearings - NOT! :D

"do up everything you undid!" sounds pretty sensible to me :D

Don't overtighten the small clamp bolt - it's not very strong

It's all pretty straightforward if you have three legs and four hands and are sitting on the ground in front of the bike.

One last thing, use a jack under the engine or fill the top box with bricks - it stops the bike rolling off the centre stand.

Tape something between the brake lever and grip to stop you/someone pulling the brake lever. Guess why I advise that? :D
