Registration Light Bulb

Does anyone know what bulb is used for the registration plate light on the xchallenge, i lost mine together with the light unit in an off, thought it would be a standard capless bulb, fiche just says "long life 5w" but tried one and didnt work, voltage at the fitting seems very low circa 1v so i may have a problem in the connector

Just used a standard capless bulb in mine ex Halfords works OK

R&G sell an led replacement for their tail tidies, thats what's on mine

Thanks guys will have to investigate further where the fault lies

found the problem, where the cable runs between the license plate holder and the inner wheel cover the cable had rubbed through, all the others had bare wire too, so am guessing it has been like this for a while and only as a result of losing the lamp holder its come to light so to speak.
