Regular Surrey / Hants Ride #3 - March 14th

Will be meeting at Frensham Common BIG CAR PARK at 0830 ready to leave for 0900. Please note that this is the second car park along from the A287, not the first one on the bend. Hope this linky thing works....?

Route will be ~75 miles and we will stop somewhere for a bite near lunchtime - or bring sarnies if you prefer.

What has been suggested is that who ever leads, PMs everyone with their mobile contact number a couple of days before, so if there is any last minute drop outs, the leader can be contacted and no one is left hanging around, which happened last week

I'd love to join you guys in the future. I'm very much an off-road noob but these rides are all very local to me (I'm the next village across from Frensham). As soon as I've got the Tenere up and running count me in! In the meantime I'll just enjoy the photos...

Sorry have to drop out as wont have new bike in time for this outing. Been a in a bit of a dilema about which bike to purchase, either the new GSA or a very tasty K1300r that Bahnstomers have. Going for the GSA. Just need to get down to Bahnstomers to sort it.

This ride is the day after i come back from skiing, so to be fair, whilst i would love to, i think it fair to say i will be too knackered, so might as well shout it up now and offer the final place to someone else. Plus i really need to stick some bar risers on before the next outing.

To put FatTossers comment into context, his fall was an abject lesson in how important body armour is - & not putting your mobile in a breast pocket!

Went for a recce today......why does it always take longer than you think!? Its drying out quite well but still some big ones around!
