Remapping for Tossers
Hi all,
Just spoke with Geoff regarding a day for UKGSers. We need a total of 4 or 5 people to do it, and price will be 330 inc. (360 normally).
I have provisionally booked Tuesday 24th July to give people a couple of weeks to sort out days off etc.
If you're interested let me know via PM and I'll pop you on the list.
Once I have names plus locations I can distribute so people can meet up for the ride to and from Hilltop if they're interested.

It is a typo in location which as you correctly surmised is Mansfield, Notts. so anyone coming down from up north welcome to a cuppa break if they want to meet up on way down.

Bit of advice for you guys, as mentioned previously Geoff recommends new plugs afterwards. Take a set with you and change before you leave.

Is it the same spec plugs we need to fit or something different?
Re timings, I'm flexible re slot but given I'm quite close, happy to do an early slot if that works.

Just whatever you normally use. Geoffs own preference would be Denso but NGK otherwise. I just used the standard NGKs, easy to get hold of and less than £20 a set if you look around. Dunno what those with TC bikes use.

I see my manual says Bosch YR5LDE. Off to search fora for spark plug fact and fiction. Any other pointers gratefully received.

I'm thinking a new airfilter, valve and throttle body balance before the remap, new plugs after.
