Remapping Speed Record @ £477 per hour

Can anyone who has been to Hilltop beat 44 minutes for a remap (see times on dyno chart)? Or was your bike sitting in the dyno room for long periods whilst nothing happened? Anybody had a custom dyno-developed remap done elsewhere any quicker than that? £350 for 44 minutes was a good hourly rate.

Does anyone out there really think they've had a custom remap at Hilltop, or actually believe the dyno prints?

I must say 131.22 bhp at the crank (DJHP Corrected Power) for an 1190 Adv is a bit disappointing when KTM reckon 147.5.

How much cheaper than a power commander/dyno - should a remap be?

In calculating the hourly rate, you have presumably included all the development time and investment required? :blast

I had mine checked on another dyno about a year after I had my Hilltop remap and it gave exactly the same figures (+/- a couple of percent), so yes I do believe the dyno prints :P :dabone
 
I am saying nothing - make up your own minds :D
 
Backstreet hero - I asked you this in the other thread but you declined to answer so I'm asking you again.

Most if not all your posts on this site have been to try and discredit Hilltop so my question is for you to declare you interest in this. Do you work within the motorcycle trade? For a tuning shop? Dealer? Possibly a competitor Dyno shop?

BTW my 1190R, post Hilltop, puts out 138 at the rear wheel which corresponds very well with KTM's figure of 150 at the crank.
Another member of this site with an 1190R had his figures verified by an independent Dyno shop (KTM dealer) and the figures were within 1bhp of eachother.

Emailed them with a question about re-mapping, within the hour they were back with a very clear full answer - good customer service, if I was going to use anyone to re-map I'd think that I'd choose them.

funny that i paid him 250 quid for a remap on my twin cam gs,and yes it took about 45 mins,i offered him cash and he said he wanted me to use my debit card ,so you paid a 100 quid more that me ,guess i must have just caught him in a good mood .
 
I guess some people expect to pay £10/hr:rolleyes:
