Remapping Speed Record @ £477 per hour

And again; it's not a custom remap..... It's a new map that works better than BMW's.

If I was getting a quirky bike done, like my Ducati Evo or my RC8, then I'm sure Geoff would do a custom remap. BSD certainly would.

He sets up each bike to make it run better... that would be custom :thumb2

Yes, and no. He uses a new map (one size fits all) that adjusts to a set of variables.
And as before, I'm very happy with the two boxers that he's done for me :-)

Almost, by using the readings from various sensors on the bike it adjust the fuelling and timing to match the programmed parameters as closely as possible. It self learns too.

Can never understand the continual crap that surrounds Hilltop, for those who have used the service on a Hexhead will know what complete transformation occurs, bollocks to BHP or fuel or any other crap it turns a tractor into an extremely great machine to ride....... stop bitching go pick on Boris.

If you do not trust, or understand go elsewhere and keep quite !!!!

Well said and this constant sniping is bordering on obsessive. Everyone I know who have had it done loves the transformation and I don't suppose really care about teh magic that goes on.

Those who don't think Hilltop works, do us all a favour and fuck off and hound someone else as you are getting boring beyond belief.

I've been back to him at least five times...so either I'm a mug or he's doing something right ;)

If you have no first hand experience go fcuk yourself with a pineapple :thumb2

I'm booked in for Wednesday and quite happy to draw my own conclusions.

I'm considering making a trip over on the ferry to get it done.

I kinda like the Pineapple idea though!!!!!

Funny that because you usually seem to slag off the bike magazines and journals opinions as mostly propoganda that is not to be believed or trusted. :thumb

All I know is that I contacted BSD via email and they got straight back to me with an unambiguous answer to one of the questions that I asked a certain other tuning service without a response. They appear to be very straight, open and honest with no obfuscation.

And did Hilltop not give you a personal invite (open day) for you and all to ask as Many questions as you like !

Did You turn up ?

Why are you so bitter and twisted about the man ! ffs give Hilltop bashing a miss for once.

If that's all true, then of course you won't have any problems with sharing that information on here. What was your question and what was their answer?

Backstreet hero - I asked you this in the other thread but you declined to answer so I'm asking you again.

Most if not all your posts on this site have been to try and discredit Hilltop so my question is for you to declare you interest in this. Do you work within the motorcycle trade? For a tuning shop? Dealer? Possibly a competitor Dyno shop?

BTW my 1190R, post Hilltop, puts out 138 at the rear wheel which corresponds very well with KTM's figure of 150 at the crank.
Another member of this site with an 1190R had his figures verified by an independent Dyno shop (KTM dealer) and the figures were within 1bhp of eachother.

I have to say I strongly agree.

The tone of your email has gone from one of inquiring about the merits of the various options, an entirely legitimate activity on a forum, to one of unprovoked outright attack without a shred of evidence.

If people were not getting the results they were and it was clear a supplier was not delivering to the customer promise then, again it is a legitimate activity to post your findings to allow others to make their mind up.

It appears what you are doing is to actively destroy a persons business without a shred of evidence as to why you should undertake such an activity. I simply cannot understand your motivation based on a business where 98% (i am guessing) of those who have had a remap have come away as advocates for Hilltops product.....a figure I could only dream of in my business.

Therefore, as Outtomuch says, either post proof that the customers are not satisfied to a level that calls the product into question or frankly shut up.....and before people bang on about free speech...I am a firm advocate right up to the point that lies and misdirection or just plain unfairness start harming the innocent. The target of your vitriol also has rights as well.

You've only got to check out the profile of our "hero of the back passage" to smell a rat! Only 36 posts, nearly every single one about mapping, and the majority specifically trying to undermine Hilltop's business. Could they be a doppelgänger profile I wonder :nenau;)

At least "What Women Want Will" (aka Engineer) is an active contributor to this site - as he posts shite in lots of other sections too, and whilst I don't agree with his obsessive sceptism of Hilltop, he is very good at winding up folk in the Africa Twin section so he can't be all bad :D

The OP has opened the thread and left us all to it, not a peep since the original post. We are all facilitating him.
