Thank you for coming down.
Up until last year, when the Riders Branch started it, there was no 11:00 ceremony at the memorial.
The Official one is at 10:00.
Many older veterans go to 11:00 one at the Guildhall, which is the official Portsmouth one.
Saying that, there were a couple of WW2 veterans that I chatted to, as well as a few from more recent conflicts.
I also had a great chat with an American couple, the wife who was also a veteran of WW2, who were amazed at the turnout and praised the bikers.
The count was around 505 bikes.
HM Scooter Club usually rock up with over 100 scooters, so yes there was a high proportion.
We, the Riders Branch, managed about 50 bikes, from the local area.
The rest were made up of other clubs and non-associated riders.
The next charitable event for the calendar is "The Mary Rose Toy Run" on December 15th
(This is not organised by the RBLR, but we do provide marshals)
I will stick a post up when I get one sorted.
