Remembrance Parade Duxford 8/11/09.

I don't know if anyone is interested but I've been to Duxford for the last couple of years for their Remembrance Service. The main reason I went originally was that on that day it is free to enter the museum but it is quite a good turnout of veterans, current serving members of the armed forces and civillians. I usually arrive around 10 and leave about 2 so that I can get back for our local Rembrance Parade at 3.

If you've never been before the museum is well worth a visit and going on Rememberance Sunday makes it all a bit more poignant and it's free.

A small (but select) group of GSers spent a long weekend at Duxford at the end of last month, it is definitely worth a visit. To do it justice, we spent two days looking at the exhibits.

Fantastic place.
