You can replace the bleeder without cutting the pipe, think from memory? It has locktite on it and I applied a little heat and 2 sets of vise-grips and replaced the end with a bleed nipple.

Not done this but it has worked on other lost causes when dealing with brakepipes etc, try a bit of heat on the casing as a last resort then tap the local area while using molegrips or similar. (heat gun is recommended - if you are worried about using a blowtorch fire/damaging the surface)
cheers Steptoe it worked using the boiling water , & got the end section off but the hex screw in the end had been rounded by it's last owner so will dig that out at a later date, or just get a new one, but I now have a clutch with fresh fluid
