I woke up this morning with an urge to bugger off to a secluded woodland cabin, somewhere in the middle of nowhere for 3 or 4 nights.

Roll up on the bike, switch the phone off, make a fire, cook some food, read a book etc. Get away from everything and everyone for the best part of a week.

Any suggestions for suitable accommodation?

Canopy and Stars website will have log cabins and tree houses aplenty
We stayed in a remote cottage in Pembrokeshire a couple of years ago on their website
No Wi-Fi or phone signal and just about had electric
Had to walk through a wood to access it - no roads

Message @jasp on this forum. He’s got just the place for you in Shropshire and offers a discount for forum members. It’s also on canopy and stars I believe.

Was just about to point Bonzo your way 👍

This is our place 2 weeks ago, the track is under there somewhere....it's 1/3 mile long and was 2 feet deep in drifts.
Here's the link to the website, apparently the pics don't do it justice as you can't see where it's situated, must add one of Udders drone shots!.....quite close to the house,70 metres, but very private with its own access and onto the hill. You can't hear any traffic, maybe a tractor or quad, great views and walking.

I can 100% recommend Jasps place! :thumb2
Absolutely perfect if you want tranquility and get away from everything! A fantastic little cabin with some great walks right out of the door too! :thumb2

I've stayed here a couple of times, it's certainly remote, but if you like Roman things a useful place to be:
