Why do you want to remove it, is it knackered ?

Ecu removal is same procedure as 1200 LC. May be more details on the net for that
In short, it’s under the riders seat and I would disconnect the negative battery terminal although not mandatory

I second removing the battery negative cable first. I think it is mandatory. That ECU is expensive and if he pulls the connector off unevenly there could be a problem.

Thread is in naughty corner Ajay he needs to pay subs to see it, but as said above no real reason to take it out, as nothing out there at the moment, and seems from a lot of expert opinions and those that have the 1250, it is fine as it is.

Cheers for that, I will have another look. I thought it might be under that tank as I didn’t see it on first glance.

it was on earlier models, but 1200 LC onwards was under seat so dead easy to get too.
