Remove ECU

He will need to leave it under a Tree - they will collect it I suppose......

There is a separate thread headed, surprisingly, 1250 Tuning options available. Suggest OP reads through this for an understanding of what he can & cannot do with his steed

Ecu removal is same procedure as 1200 LC. May be more details on the net for that
In short, it’s under the riders seat and I would disconnect the negative battery terminal although not mandatory

I second removing the battery negative cable first. I think it is mandatory. That ECU is expensive and if he pulls the connector off unevenly there could be a problem.

Why, though, are you removing it?

Thread is in naughty corner Ajay he needs to pay subs to see it, but as said above no real reason to take it out, as nothing out there at the moment, and seems from a lot of expert opinions and those that have the 1250, it is fine as it is. :D

Cheers for that, I will have another look. I thought it might be under that tank as I didn’t see it on first glance.
