Removing ABS from a 2000 1150GS (NON-iABS model)

I wanted to check a couple of things regarding the ABS removal on my 77k 2000 1150GS. This is the non iABS version.

• Pipes and lines - happy with that, I used the thread on here describing how to reroute the brake lines to the master cylinders and removed the rigid brake lines.
• ABS unit - seems straightforward, pop off the black cover on the RHS of the ABS unit and disconnect the relevant wires.
• Connector block onto ABS module & rewiring - unsure of what to do here. I understand that no rewiring of brake switches is necessary, but surely I can't just disconnect everything and have the bike work fine - that seems too easy.

Which wires do I need to remove from the connector block (and wire to the ABS relay) in order to have proper functioning of the brake light? (Green one?)
