Can anyone help me with the best way to remove the weights in the end of the handle bars that the end caps screw into? I have an old winter hack CB500 that I want to remove the weights in the bars so I can put some end mirrors onto the bike. The mirrors use a clear route into the bars then expand to keep them in. .....TA

I couldn't get the bar end wights off my CB500 no matter what I tried; in the end called into the local Honda dealer and got the mechanic to undo them (probably just used more force than I was prepare to use rather than a specific tool!). Sorry if that doesn't help you
