removing fairing from paralever

Hi

I'd like to remove the fairing from my R80GS paralever, and have a 'naked' front end. Anyone done this, and can pass on any advice ?

I see the main problem being the speedo housing. Would an 80 ST have the parts I need ?

if the frame is the same as the r100gs the the clocks light and all will fit from any r100

Can I simply slot the speedo and revcounter from the paralever into any R series clock housing ?

the clocks on the r 100/7 i have got are sealed and are a different shape as well and quicker to fit the r100 clocks on if u can find ones with about the same miles
