Removing the BWM Badge from the Tank........

Has anyone done it..........if so how's it done?

the easy way is a large rock on rudland rigg, north yorks!

Read (I’m sure on this board) two different ways;

1. Heat badge with hair dryer/heat gun to soften the glue and carefully prise off.

2. Use dental floss to cut through the glue that the badge is stuck on with.

Have not needed to remove a badge myself.

I was thinking of something a little less dramatic........;) But thanks for your input. I trust all is fine at sunny Braemar-by-the-Sea!

I'll try option two suggested by sandbaggerone.........unless someone else knows better............

badge removal

I used fishing line as they are stuck on very well, the dental floss kept breaking you will actually be cutting through double sided foam not glue.The foam stuff on the back is an absolute b*****d to get off I used a wire brush drill attachment to get mine off and you can get replacment foam from halfords when you come put it back on.Andy
