Remus and Laser

Thinking of fitting one to current 1100gs its a 1998 and no CAT and was wondering has anyone had problems with the running and power delivery after fitting one.
As for the CAT i have been told that my bike does not have one but there is a large pre muffler on it ? planning on getting rid of this also .

Advice thoughts ?
