Guys - my 1150gs Remus looks like this:

Does the baffle pull out of the input end of the can ?

Mine was riveted I drilled it out. Pulled baffle out tapped the hole so I can put it back if I want to.

I've got a vague feeling that the Remus boxes come with a small self-tapping stainless steel screw to pop into the hole left over from drilling out that pop rivet....Tape (unless it's a fancy high temp stuff :nenau) is going to melt on the back of the 'zorst......

If it's been in there a while it'll almost certainly need a good tug to get it out. Nothing wrong with a good tug mind

Time to visit Specsavers....? :augie

From where did you conjure up the vision of him using tape....? :nenau

By missing the second 'p'

:blush

In my defence though, I've learned NEVER to under-estimate the stupidity of some of the inmates :augie

Lol thanks. I'm not that stupid. Although you should always have gaffa tape in your tool box.

Introduction of r1100gs training course certificate when I worked in a bmw main dealer (8 years) I was selling Remus exhausts for bmw's before they were popular. We also did prob one of the first alloy wheel conversions too.
